How the Program Works
The Battery Network’s collection program is designed to make rechargeable battery recycling safe, simple, and seamless. We provide clear guidance, simple steps, and ready-to-use materials to help you collect batteries safely and confidently. Our team is here to support you at every stage.
1. Enroll your location
We help you get set up quickly with the right collection method for your battery volume. Once enrolled, your location becomes part of our nationwide network of drop-off sites and added to our locator if desired.
2. Receive your collection materials
You’ll receive approved collection boxes and instructions. These materials are designed for safety, compliance, and ease of use, so your team can start accepting batteries with confidence.
3. Collect batteries from customers
Collect eligible batteries and follow the safety guidelines to get them ready for shipment.
4. Ship full boxes back
When a box is full, you simply seal it and ship it using the prepaid, pre-addressed label. No special shipping arrangements or extra steps—just pack, label, and send.
Bulk shippers get a different set of tools, including bill-of-lading guidance and high-volume instructions.
5. Easily reorder supplies through the Collection Hub
When you’re running low on materials, its easy to log in to the Collection Hub to reorder collection boxes, shipping materials, and resources so your program keeps moving smoothly.
6. Access reporting and support
You can view activity, and access training resources through our portal, the Collection Hub. Our team is here to help anytime you need guidance.
